Actor Lance Riddick (The Wire) along with manager and Peabody Award-winning producer Steven Adams team to form Christai Prods.
According to Variety “Christai Prods. will focus on developing story-driven film and TV projects that may be “outside the box” but feature strong roles that should attract talent.”
The first release from Christai will be ‘St. Sebastian’s starring Danny DeVito (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), William Fichtner (Prison Break), Constance Zimmer (Love Bites) and Lawrence Gillard (The Wire). ’St. Sebastian’ is co-produced by Devito’s New Jersey films with Steve Bing (The Big Bounce) as executive producer.
‘Other Animals’ a tale of intersecting charactering, an aging pop star and hitman will be the second project from Christai for which ’Red Tails’ Anthony Hemingway is attached to direct. In addition to films Reddick and Adams plan to develop projects for television and cable networks.
