Actor Brandon Fobbs (Southland, The Wire) directs and stars in the short film ’The Realest Audition… Ever’!

In ‘The Realest Audition…Ever’ Brandon goes on an audition for the role of a lifetime, but he has to literally fight for the part. Fobbs whose resume is filled with numerous film and television credits and is best known for his role as Fruit in the HBO series ’The Wire is no stranger to the audition process.
Screenplay written and directed by Brandon Fobbs, co-directed by Kamal Robinson, executive produced by Jim Pickens (Grey’s Anatomy) & Brandon Fobbs and Liz Edwards as Line Producer. ’The Realest Audition…Ever’ stars Alphonso McAuley (Love That Girl), Ryan Thomas, Alfred Kendrick, Liz Fields and featuring Jameel Saleem (Exit Strategy), Juhahn Jones (Queen Hussy), Paul Elia & Mitch Eakins (Glory Road).
‘The Realest Audition…Ever” screens Tuesday, March 20 at at 7:30 pm at Hope’s House 10654 Balboa Boulevard, San Fernando Valley, CA.
